Most factory-installed security systems only monitor the doors in order to start honking the horn. The Compustar security systems we offer include their new DAS-II sensor. This multifunction sensor will detect shocks and impacts or vehicle motion. If someone bumps your car in a parking lot, the alarm system will go off. The DAS-II can also sense if the vehicle is being jacked-up as would be required to steal a set of wheels or a catalytic converter. The last thing a thief wants is a screaming siren, honking car horn and flashing lights. Finally, the DAS-II includes a microphone designed to detect glass breakage.
Two-Way Communication Alerts Owners
Our security systems have two options available to alert the vehicle owner if the car alarm has been triggered. If you have opted for a two-way remote like the PRO G15 or the amazing PRO R5, the remote will beep and flash an LED when the system in the car has been triggered. We have two-way remotes that will work when you are several kilometers away from your vehicle, in an apartment or an office building.
Another option is the Drone telematics system. Drone works with your smartphone to control the security system in your vehicle. If the alarm is triggered, you’ll get a notification on your phone in under two seconds. You can check on the vehicle or choose to call the police. Should the vehicle be towed, you can pinpoint its exact location in a matter of seconds by tapping the GPS Tracking icon on the DroneMobile app.
