The system records video at 1920×1080 resolution and 30 frames per second. The F800PRO is optimized to provide excellent image contrast in bright conditions when the sun is in the picture and at night when lighting is limited.
The Thinkware F800PRO includes a Wi-Fi hotspot, so you can connect to the camera with your iPhone or Android-based smartphone to view videos and configure the system. The F800R is an optional rear camera that we can add to the F800PRO to capture video behind your vehicle or in the interior. If you are an Uber or Lyft driver, this is a worthwhile addition. Another popular option is the GPS receiver. When connected, the camera will store your location information as well as your vehicle speed with the movie file.

The F800PRO features a dedicated parking mode that will record time-lapse video while you are away from your vehicle. You also have the option of recording only after the built-in accelerometer detects motion or something moves into or out of the camera field of vision. To ensure the system won’t deplete your battery, an automatic low-voltage cut-off circuit shuts down the camera when it senses the battery is getting low.

Thinkware F50 Dash Camera
The F50 offers 1080p image resolution at a very accessible price point and includes an 8GB microSD card. Both the F50 and F800PRO record audio and video continuously while you drive and can save an “event” movie when triggered by the onboard 3-axis accelerometer or the manual record button. The recording starts 10 seconds before the trigger and has a total length of 60 seconds.
